PELVIC HEALTH, WITH MICHELLE COCKRAM - FRIDAY JULY 3rd 11AM
Finding a women's health physio is really quite difficult, we are very fortunate to have Michelle here at Northampton. She is the only masters qualified women's health physiotherapist locally and is completely committed to helping men and women with all things pelvic related and has a private practice as well as her NHS practice.
For £2 you can get so much information to help you stay healthy 'downstairs'. If you leak urine when you run cough or sneeze, strain or get constipated you’ll learn how to reverse this and prevent it worsening.
Michelle will also go over the benefits of movement and exercise on incontinence.
Topics will also include:
What is the pelvic floor and how it works?
How much you should be drinking for your body size?
What you wear on your feet and how that can affect your pelvic floor explained
How to avoid constipation and prevent pelvic organ prolapse?
How to avoid wind and bloating?
What is the best way to clean your genitals and what with?
How to do pelvic floor exercises correctly and what not to do
How relaxation can be the difference to doing your pelvic floor exercises correctly or not
What are the best products for improving your pelvic health function, and when are they indicated?
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You book in via our online booking system, or use the link below, the cost is £2 and that will go to the Hope Centre in Northampton. You will get the link for the webinar shortly before the sessions start.
Sit down, get comfy and prepare to listen and participate if you wish to.
WANT TO ASK A REALLY PERSONAL QUESTION? you can ask questions via the Chat Box that only Michelle can see, no one else, so you can get advice immediately..within reason obviously, without a proper consultation she cannot diagnose.
You can also email me with a quesitonand I can ask for you. This is an opportunity to get expert advice for a couple of quid and save yourself a lot more pain down the road.
